Christmas Eve
We get together on Christmas Eve at my mom's house. We do dinner and a program and then we get to unwrap one present from my mom. She makes PJ's every year for everyone and we get socks.

Here the kids are eating the yummy dinner.
Our family singing "Angels we Have Heard on High" It is awesome to hear Abby singing "gloria in excelsis deio" That is why we picked that song.Sawyer learned I'm Gettin' Nothin' for Christmas. I think she was trying to teach it to Ruth so she could sing it. Ruth really didn't know it that well, even with the words in front of her. It was really cute though, she had the tune all wrong and so Sawyer was helping her.
Our little Nativity. Abby and Liam got to be Mary and Joseph while Adele got to be baby Jesus. Don't you just love Joseph sucking his thumb!
Here is a portion of the crew. Matthew and I got cut off we were the other two wise men.
Christmas Day
We woke up nice and early on Christmas morning, the girls were excited to see what Santa had brought them.
Sawyer just loves her stocking can't you tell?
Abby trying to get her shoes on.
Check out all the neat stuff in their stockings.
Look what Santa brought for the girls!
I'm taking a look in my stocking.
Sawyer trying out her bike.
Abby checking her bike out. The bike didn't come with a bike bag so I found that vinyl bag and sewed velcro on it and made one for her. I was pretty proud of myself. After we were done opening presents we still had a lot of time before we had to go to the Neus' for lunch so we stopped by Grandma Evans' for a bit.
We went to Michael and Sandi's for Christmas with the Neus'. Here is an attempt to get a picture of all the grandchildren.
Abigail Jean with Grandma Jean.
Matthew and Grandma Neus.
The cousins checking out the presents.
Abby opening her gift from Grandma Neus.
Sawyer scored big with the beanie babies from Grandma Neus.
Grandma Neus made this blanket for Abby, she just loves it. Thanks grandma!
Afterwards we headed back to Grandma Evans' to open presents there. What a huge pile of presents!
Everyone has their piles, ready, set...
GO! The name of the game is open them as fast as you can so you're parents don't know what you got and from who. Boy that was fun!
Here's our annual pajama pants shot. What a good looking group!
Abby couldn't wait to put on her tutu from Grandma Evans. Isn't she adoreable?
Part 1 of the group
Part 2
Part 3
and part 4 of the group. Usually we take one big group shot but for some reason at my house it was separate.
Next we went to Megan and Marcus's house for taquitos, chips and salsa, and hot apple cider.
After that we headed on over to Reddin and Karen's for oriental chicken salad and yummy rolls.
Finally, we ended the night at my mom's for dessert, and boy were they yummy!
Playing Quelf.
Travis had to make a fort and stay under there for a period of time. Trevor had to put ice down his pants until he rolled a certain number, and there were many other crazy things going on during this game.

Each year we do a progressive dinner where we get to see everyone's house at Christmas time. Usually we have appetizer, salad, dinner, and dessert. We are usually too full to even eat dinner. So this year we decided to all do appetizers and then dessert. I think it worked out really well. We started at our house with orange chicken and little smokies.

My Mom's Birthday Party 12-29-09
For my mom's birthday party we played bunko. We came and played and got prizes for different things. It was fun to be with all my siblings. Afterwards we played this really fun game I got Travis for Christmas called Quelf. It is the most random game ever.
