Abby Dancing

We were at my cousin Erin's wedding reception. We were sitting down eating when Abby heard this song come on and had to dance. I know the video is not the right way. It was hilarious, of course her cousin Kayda had to follow. Those two are two peas in a pod.

The Car Ride Home

Winter 2010

On the way home from Grandma Evans's house Matthew and Abby fell asleep, too cute. I just love pictures of my children sleeping. They look so sweet and peaceful. Sawyer was in the back getting upset because the flash kept flashing and hurting her eyes.

Field Trip to Arizona Science Center

November 2010

Sawyer wanted me to go with her on her fieldtrip. We got to go to the Arizona Science Center. It was a lot of fun, I was glad I got to go. Sure beat going to the farm in 1st grade.
This was my group of girls, Sawyer, Cyannah, and Carmen. Sawyer and I in the bus waiting to leave the school. This is a picture of the girls watching an interactive video.

Here is a sample of what they saw and felt. It was really quite neat feeling the wind, rain, heat, etc.
The girls playing in the sand and water... ...making dams and streams.Sawyer spinning, and laying on a bed of nails!

Here is a really cool part of the fire demonstration. Of course I had my camera sideways, why can't I remember to keep it straight.

Abby's Costume Parade and Fall Carnival

October 28, 2010

I made it just in time to see Abby in her parade. She was so excited to wear her costume to school. Of course I have my camera the wrong way so the video is sideways, sorry. Here Abby is dressed up as Belle in her parade. Abby getting blindfolded, so she can pick out a prize. What prize is she going to get? Abby at the bean bag toss. Abby at the pumpkin bowl, she's a natural, must get that from her dad! Abby with her class. Abby getting her hand painted, instead of her face. The finished product.

Matthew's 2nd Birthday

Matthew is 2 years old! I can't believe it. He has come so far in his two years, yet we still have a long way to go. Matthew celebrated his birthday with the Neus family with Grandpa Neus. We went out for dinner, it was yummy, afterwards we got to roast marshmellows. I didn't get any pictures from that night, oops! We celebrated earlier with the Evans Family when we had family night at our house. October 25th
Here Matthew is opening his presents with the help of his sister, Sawyer! What a nice shirt Cool PJ's, thanks Aunt Karen Singing Happy Birthday, do you like the candles. I had one normal candle and a number 1, it works right?
Matthew having a taste of his cookie...
...and some ice cream...
...mmm that is good!

Afterwards Matthew was being silly and trying to eat the table. He'd never done this before, silly boy!

Sawyer and Soccer

September - November 2010

Sawyer did soccer again after a 2 year hiatus, she had a really good coach that really helped her learn more about the game. She did a really good job and learned a lot.

Here she is dribbling the ball.

Sawyer in action, I'm sure the ball is about to be stolen from her.

Crazy Abby watching Sawyer play soccer. It is always a fun time trying to keep her entertained at the soccer games.

A view of the game.

Sawyer as goalie, she loves being goalie.

Half-time pep talk.

After Sawyer's soccer practice we were driving home. I thought Abby was in her seat but she had sat down on the floor between the seats and fell asleep. This is how I found her.

It is amazing the places she falls asleep. She is crazy and plays hard, but when she is ready to sleep, there is no stopping her.

Poor Abby!

September 2011 Abby had a full day of going to kids club at the mall, and playing with Emmy and Lucy at the play area in the mall. We then hurried home and ate lunch and she headed off to school. When she got home from school she walked straight to the couch grabbed her blanket and fell asleep with her backpack still on. She was exhausted! She is still getting used to afternoon school which means no more nap, poor girl.

Abby had school pictures but the price of pictures was ridiculous, so I decided since she was all decked out for pictures I would put her against my brown wall and take her school picture. These are typical Abby pictures with her making silly faces. This was one of the end ones, here she is being just plain silly and purposefully making faces. Luckily we did end up with at least one useable picture. I just think she is so adoreable. Matthew's eye doctor wanted us to start patching his eye to help balance out his vision. He wasn't using his eyes together and his right eye was starting to drift. Here he is with his pirate patch on playing so he won't grab it off his face. Because I was taking pictures of Abby and Matthew, Sawyer was feeling left out and asked for me to take a picture of her. She is so cute!
